E Komo Mai …Welcome to Hula Hālau ‘Ohana Holo‘oko‘a, the School of Hula where everyone is family. ‘Ohana (family) has always been a key ingredient of Hawaiian culture. But the embrace of ‘ohana can surround any caring community, such as our troupe of dancers – men, women and children. Here we are dedicated to the art of hula and to each other.

Since 1998, Hula Hālau ‘Ohana Holo‘oko‘a has been teaching hula, as well as Hawaiian culture and language, songs and dances for people of all ages in the Portland metropolitan area. Our dancers and musicians also provide authentic Hawaiian entertainment to community events and private and corporate functions.
