All ‘Ukulele classes are taught by Louise Strait. Louise comes to us with a strong musical background, both as an ‘ukulele player and music teacher. She has a BA in Music Education and an MA in Music performance. Louise has been teaching various instruments privately for 20+ years. Louise has taught band and orchestra and is currently teaching general music.
‘Ukulele 1:
Tuesday – 5:30 to 6:15pm
This class is for those who need help with chords and strums. We will work on picking, scales, music theory and note reading.
‘Ukulele 2:
Wednesday – 5:15 to 6pm
This class is for those who have some familiarity with note reading, know chords (major, minor, VII), can read notation and can strum easily. We will work on reading music, strumming and picking, ear training and integrating chords.
